Hercules: The World’s Biggest Dog Ever According to Guinness World Records.
Hercules was recently awarded the honorable distinction of Worlds Biggest Dog by Guinness World Records. Hercules is an English Mastiff and who has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds.
With “paws the size of softballs” (reports the Boston Herald), the three-year-old monster is far larger and heavier than his breed’s standard 200lb. limit. Hercules owner Mr. Flynn says that Hercules weight is natural and not induced by a bizarre diet: “I fed him normal food and he just “grew”… and grew. and grew. and grew.
Kell: Slightly Smaller, But the World’s Heaviest Dog Hercules’ sheer volume may have won him the Largest Dog world record, but the Heaviest Dog title still rests with Kell who weighed in at 286 pounds in August of 1999. This English Mastiff, however, only has a 32-inch neck – far less than
Hercules’ 38-incher. Think about that for a second though – 32 inches is a standard waist size for a man!
Proud owner Tom Scott said Kell is two years old and is expected to continue to grow for the next two years. Kell needs to be fed 100lb of beef every week, and drinks gallons of goats’ milk to stay healthy…

Puzzling, I saw the reference to Hercules in a news story in Britain’s Daily Telegraph about England’s biggest dog, Sampson, and the story said Hercules weighed 22 stone: 308 lbs. Maybe he has grown since this story above?

Wow! Yeah, I have a 1 year old Pitbull thats’ bigger than that dog. Ya know, if say so and take and doctor a better photo. That dog is not that big, sorry! I almost believed it.

I have an English Mastiff that weighs in at 219, The dog in that doctered picture is not the largest, Zorba was 343 in 1989-The real world record! He can be found online with a simple search. Educate yourself!

I have heard a lot of people say that they didn’t believe this was real. Well the photo is real, but the names are not. The dog’s nickname was Hercules but his real name was “Aicama Zorba of La-Susa” and he didn’t weigh 280 some lbs. He weighed 343 lbs and he IS in the Gunisses Book of World Records. He died and was the largest dog in history. He was also 8ft 3 in. I will put a link to the site of the Gunisses Records so you may take a look. Now, at the preasent time there is a different dog claiming the title of worlds biggest dog but not biggest dog in history. I just thought I’d let everyone know. It is real and there are animals that are bigger than life. Try looking at the ligar named Hercules who is 900 lbs. He is the biggest in the world. He is on Youtube. Also the biggest bird in history has a wingspan of 23ft. Swollow that why don’t you. Now enough crud and arguement.

this is real. i havent seen this dog in particular but i have seen two dogs probably smaller than this one for like a foot long difference. So i think this is real. the two dogs im talking about live in torrace ca or close by it because there was where i saw them. They look just like this one.

this photo is a total fake you can tell it is photoshopped look closely at the dog HE HAS NO BACK LEGS but, neo and eng mastiffs can get close to the size of the dog in the pic
